Real sustainibility in fashion lies, as the article suggests, with putting to stop to throw-away clothing and footwear. One problem I have always had is with footwear that does not fit. I buy shoes for very little (or sometimes up to £30) and they do not fit properly and I end up chucking them away after years of hanging on to them. If we could all find a pair of shoes that fit our narrow or wide feet properly then this would not occur.
